what we stand for

We stand for a future where Latinos can access quality, culturally rooted health care—regardless of income, status, or background. From clinics to classrooms to the Capitol, we advocate for a system that sees us, hears us, and serves us.

healthcare

About 47,000 Latino residents in Oregon remain uninsured, and many continue to face barriers to affordable, culturally competent healthcare.

Latino Health First: A Movement That United Oregon

During Oregon’s 2025 legislative session, HB 3650 became more than a bill - it became a banner that united families, advocates, and leaders across the state under one shared belief:
health care is a right, not a privilege.

what we built together

A statewide movement
HB 3650 catalyzed years of advocacy into one cohesive call for health equity, linking local struggles into a shared statewide vision.

Representation & Inclusion

The proposal elevated the need for more Latino providers, linguistically competent care, and data-driven reforms.

Political Unity in Action

Support for HB 3650 transcended party lines and helped safeguard key protections like the HOPE program, which continues to provide critical health access to thousands of Oregonians.

thank you to our champions

We are proud to recognize the organizations, community members, and elected officials who stood with us—
not for a party, but for the health of our people.
